Tropical Hardwood Doors are primarily manufactured using Meranti, Agathis and Palapi in accordance with our Grading rules.  Supplied unfinished, without glass, enabling staining to suit the colour scheme of the room. The doors are available in standard and custom sizes.    We are also able to supply an economic alternative: Engineering Doors. These Doors use lower grade wood or Medium Density Fibreboard (MDF) for the core and a high grade veneer on top to give the Door a luxurious look. Architraves and Frames are available and are made to the specifications and in accordance with the required profile. Doors are available in several models:

Grading Rules Our Grading Rules for Solid Doors ensure that the quality of the doors supplied is superior. Regular checks and continued monitoring during production and post-production enables us to deliver a high quality door. Doors are classified into three qualities: Premium, Superior and Regular. The grading rules are: Premuim Timber to be select & Better Grade Sound and well Jointed Color Matched Free from Worm holes, Worm traces & Pin-worm Holes Free from Sapwood and Knots Filler not Permitted Doors to be flat, free from twist and square in all aspects Well sanded Superior Timber to be Standard and Better Grade Sound and well Jointed Colour mismatch Permitted Slight Worm holes, Worm traces & Pin-worm Holes (maximum 2 per component). Filled with colour matched putty. Some sapwood (maximum 5% per component) Doors to be flat, free from twist and square in all aspects Well sanded Regular Timber to be regular grade Sound and well Jointed Color not uniform Worm holes and Pinholes, Shot holes acceptable Some Sapwood Some Knots Doors to be flat, free from twist and square in all aspects Well sanded
